Citadel Layer Troll Slayer Orange (12ml)

If you want to highlight miniatures with a bold, eye-catching orange tone, Citadel Layer Troll Slayer Orange is a very useful paint. The 12 ml pot is ideal for striking accents on hair, flames, energy effects, or other details that are meant to stand out. As a Layer paint, it adds noticeable brightness to your paintwork and helps make dynamic models look even more vibrant. The shade creates strong contrasts, especially on fantasy and science-fiction miniatures.

Troll Slayer Orange is especially worthwhile when you want to add warm highlights that immediately catch the eye. The shade is well suited for elements meant to convey movement, heat, or energy. Many hobbyists use colors like this to emphasize distinctive details and give their models more character. If you are looking for a vibrant orange that clearly stands out from darker bases, this Layer paint is a good choice.

The color works particularly well on areas that are meant to be the visual focus anyway. Flames, glowing surfaces, manes, or magical details quickly gain more presence with Troll Slayer Orange. This is useful when you want to do more than just paint miniatures - you want to stage them. The shade supports exactly this effect and can be used very selectively on many models.

As a layer color, Troll Slayer Orange is designed to stand out visibly on surfaces that have already been built up. This creates a clear, vibrant effect without making the paintwork look heavy. The orange stands out particularly well on darker undercoats. So if you are looking for contrasts that remain vivid and easy to read, this color is a practical choice for your project.

Compared with softer orange shades, Troll Slayer Orange appears more direct and striking. This is helpful when you want to make accents not just subtle, but truly visible. Darker orange variants are often better for transitions, while this shade is more suited to a clear finishing touch. For models with energy, warmth, or an aggressive appearance, it is often the stronger choice.

The 12 ml quantity is well suited to a Layer paint because you usually use these shades selectively and sparingly. Especially with bright accents, you do not need a large quantity, but rather a reliable paint for recurring areas. This format is therefore very practical for everyday hobby use. Troll Slayer Orange consequently remains manageable in use and easy to integrate into your paint collection.

The color suits miniatures that are meant to convey warmth, movement, or striking energy. It works just as well for character models, monsters, or technical effects as it does for classic fantasy figures. Anyone who wants their models to look deliberately more vibrant will find a strong accent color here. Troll Slayer Orange is particularly useful when details need to stand out.

If you want to create clear focal points in your painting, Troll Slayer Orange is a very useful shade. The color adds presence to small areas and makes models appear more dynamic. For hobbyists who enjoy working with contrasts, it is a reliable addition. This lets you enhance miniatures selectively without complicating the color scheme.
