40k Chaos Nights: Wardogs

If you want to bolster your Chaos Knights in Warhammer 40.000 with more than just one large model, the War Dogs are an excellent choice. The set includes three multi-part models and gives you plenty of freedom when building them. This is especially practical for Players, as the unit can fit flexibly into different army lists. Collectors get a group of models that immediately looks like a cohesive Chaos Knights force on the table.

The War Dogs are especially worthwhile if you want to build a broader army rather than focusing on a single centerpiece. Compared with a large Knight, they’re more compact and often easier to incorporate into the overall project. If you’re looking for a set that combines mobility, firepower, and a clearly recognizable faction theme, this box is a very appealing option for building your army.

For Collectors, the War Dogs are interesting because three models together make up a small unit, visibly expanding the Collection. The box is a good fit for Chaos Knights collections built around a group of different machines rather than just one large model. If you want to organize your Warhammer 40.000 Collection by model type and faction line, this set offers a clear structure.

Players often choose War Dogs when they want to supplement their Chaos Knights with more flexible units. The set is appealing because it offers several models in one box, opening up more list options than a single Knight. If you enjoy experimenting with different army compositions, this unit is a practical foundation for further gameplay ideas.

The various weapon options make the kit especially appealing. You can build the War Dogs to better suit your army plan, so they don't feel like three identical models. Especially with Chaos Knights, where size and silhouette play a major role, this design flexibility is a real advantage for both the hobby and gameplay.

War Dogs help you build a more varied Chaos Knights army. Instead of focusing everything on a single large model, you get several units that create a powerful overall impression. This is especially useful if you want a Collection that feels more dynamic and offers more ways to build your force without losing the faction’s distinctive character.

Compared to the Knight Abominant, War Dogs are the more flexible and slightly more compact option. If you’re looking for a single dominant model, the large Knight is more impressive. But if you want several smaller war machines that can be used more flexibly, War Dogs are often the better choice. This is exactly what makes the box so interesting for buyers who have to choose between numbers and a centerpiece.

The War Dogs are primarily intended as a building project and army expansion. Anyone actively expanding their Chaos Knights can pick up the set right away and turn it into a versatile unit. They’re also an option as a sealed addition to a Collection, but their greatest value clearly lies in the completed model and in combining multiple machines.
